Micron Testing
Micron testing refers to taking a measurement of the diameter of the individual hairs.  The finer the fiber, the softer
it is.  If you send sheared pygora samples to be tested, be sure to ask that they also test for medulated fibers
(shows guardhair percentages better) and also send a graph of just the fibers under 30 microns (gives you a more
realistic micron average as the numbers given in all the graphs include guardhair).  Here are current terms for
