I bought my first pygora to supply fiber for my spinning
wheel. I was completely amazed at the lovely fiber
that came off Bonnie. It has qualities that remind me
of silk, cashmere, and kid mohair. It spins up into a
amazingly soft lusterous yarn with a pretty halo.
My goats with their lovely ringlets look like something
out of mythology, which is where we got the name
Chimera (Khi-maira). My family has fallen in love with
these sweet, playful goats and each addition has
brought me another unique fiber for my stash. One of
our goals is to share the love of this fiber with other
handspinners.
Our goats are from high quality bloodlines and we are
breeding for exceptional fleece. We have over 20
years experience raising goats and sheep.
